The Challenge

TVS SCS's SaaS app presents a challenge with its data-heavy platform and lack of timeline view for shipment tracking. The app offers comprehensive supply chain solutions, but required design improvements for a seamless user experience.

TVS approached Divami with a requirement of a unified customer portal that offers the customer full transparency and accountability at every stage of the purchase order life cycle. Moreover, the design should allow customers to view all the invoices, orders, vehicle tracking, and order status in a unified screen.

Unified Platform for Order Management

To make it easy for customers to view all generated orders in one place with their status and key metrics, we designed a single platform for creating, managing, and tracking orders. Moreover, context-specific actions helped users focus on one order at a time and perform necessary actions.

Timeline view for in-transit orders

We modified the UI to show a visual representation of in-transit orders using a timeline view that included delivery date/time and corresponding delays, if any.

Adaptive White and Cyan Interface

We used TVS brand colors to create an adaptive interface with a unique styling and use of dual-tone icons.

Reducing Overload

The platform suffered with data overload, making it confusing for users. We simplified the design by focusing on the essential elements.

Fixing navigation

By understanding the order management workflow, we streamlined the navigation and made it easier for users to find what they were looking for.

End-to-end process showcase

We redesigned the platform to showcase the end-to-end process, eradicating the need to navigate through multiple pages to understand the Proof of Delivery (POD) life cycle.
